my Story

Meet the Founder of Atelier Jillie

In a world where everything moves fast and most things are only briefly appreciated, Atelier Jillie stands as a place of calm. My mission is clear: I want to create products that are not only functional and beautiful but also contribute to a more sustainable world. Every piece I make is a protest against the throwaway culture, a celebration of objects with a story, a soul.

At Atelier Jillie, sustainability is not just about what you see but also about what you don’t see: the careful reuse of materials, business cards embedded with flower seeds, biodegradable ink, and production processes that respect both energy and resources. I believe that ceramics have a power that goes beyond practicality—they can create a connection between people and materials, a bond with nature and with the time it takes to make something that lasts.

But sustainability doesn’t have to be dull. In fact, it doesn’t even have to be “timeless” in the traditional sense. In my work, organic shapes, color, and expression take center stage. Because color is life. It can bring joy, spark a smile, or evoke wonder. A brightly colored bowl, a playful pattern on a cup—these are the things that make an ordinary moment special. My products invite you to pause and truly look, to appreciate the beauty in small details.

My vision is a world where people interact differently with the objects around them. Not items that are discarded after a few months, but pieces to cherish, to build a connection with. Atelier Jillie seeks to inspire people to live more consciously—not only to make sustainable choices but also to see beauty in imperfection, in color, and in the craftsmanship behind each creation.

Every piece that leaves my atelier tells a story. It is more than just ceramics; it is a reminder of the importance of care and creativity. Atelier Jillie stands for sustainability with a spark of color—because I believe that even a small dose of joy can make the world a little brighter.

“I love how ceramics blend control and spontaneity—each piece is a story shaped by my hands.”
